Quest for Education Foundation is a UK-registered charity (Charity Number 1142569) that provides funding to support the work of Kashmir Education Foundation (KEF) in Pakistan. KEF operates schools and a Teacher Training Institute, while Quest for Education Foundation raises funds and provides strategic support to improve educational outcomes.

While Quest for Education Foundation does not directly manage visits, we may be able to assist in arranging a visit to one of the schools or the Teacher Training Institute supported through our partnership with KEF. Please contact our UK office for more details.

What payment methods does Quest for Education Foundation accept for donations?

We accept donations via debit or credit card, bank transfer, and cheque. As a registered charity subject to periodic audits, we are unable to accept cash donations. Visit our Get Involved page for more details.

How can I cancel a regular donation?

If you wish to cancel a regular donation, please contact our UK office. You can find our details on the contact page.

Can I get a refund for a donation made in error?

In line with Charity Commission guidelines, refunds for donations are not usually permitted. Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Quest for Education Foundation. If you experience any issues with your payment, please contact us.

Does Quest for Education Foundation accept Zakat?

Yes, Quest for Education Foundation accepts Zakat. Many of the children supported through our work live in some of the poorest regions of Pakistan, making our schools and teacher training programmes a worthy recipient of Zakat. Learn more about Zakat.

Can I choose to donate to a specific school or programme?

While we cannot guarantee that your donation will be allocated to a specific school, your contribution will support our mission to improve education in underprivileged communities, including the specific area you wish to help.

How will my donation to Quest for Education Foundation be spent?

Once your donation is processed, funds are allocated to educational support, teacher training, and improving school facilities in the communities we serve. A small percentage (less than 5%) is used for activities in the UK aimed at raising awareness and generating further funds. Learn more on our Our Impact page.

How do I set up a regular donation to Quest for Education Foundation?

Regular donations help us plan long-term projects and provide sustained support to schools and teachers. To set up a regular donation, you can:
