Sonika Bansal

Sonika has been teaching science for 14 years and currently serves as the Key Stage 4 Coordinator for Science in a London secondary school. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and a PGCE. With a focus on mentoring trainee teachers and making science accessible and engaging for all learners, Sonika brings a wealth of experience in biology and science education. Her teaching philosophy is shaped by her own school experiences, believing in patience, encouragement, and inclusivity as the foundation for learning.

Iffat Ferdinand

Iffat holds a BSc in Engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London, and began her professional career working in the defence sector at the forefront of technological innovation. However, she later found her true vocation in education, spending over 20 years at a highly respected London secondary school, where she honed her teaching and leadership skills.
Since retiring from her school role, Iffat has continued to shape education both in the UK and abroad. She works closely with KEF schools to enhance their teaching standards, support staff development, and implement internationally aligned curricula. Based in London with her husband and two daughters, she now leads QEF’s consultant network and remains a driving force behind its vision to establish KEF schools as a gold standard in Pakistan.

Lisa is a highly experienced Mathematics teacher with nearly two decades of classroom teaching in a vibrant, multicultural school in London. She studied at Queen Mary University and has taught across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Known for her engaging teaching style and deep subject expertise, Lisa brings valuable insight into effective Maths instruction in diverse educational settings.

Sophia Riaz-Condron

Sophia is an experienced science educator with over 17 years of classroom teaching, including seven years as Head of Science. After beginning her career following a research role at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine, she went on to lead science departments in both London and Kent. Sophia is the founder of Pineapple Tuition and was named a finalist in the Kent Women in Business Awards 2025. She now supports students through tutoring and mentoring, helping ambitious learners achieve top grades in GCSE Science and A Level Biology. Sophia also hosts The Pineapple Podcast, sharing strategies for academic success.
